The distinguishing detail on these dark leggings is at the side waist: horizontal fabric bands frame small openings beneath the top edge. The reverse view also shows gathering along the centre-back seam, while the legs narrow towards stitched hems. These are separate construction details to address in a new pattern. A brief can specify the position and size of each waist opening, the width of the connecting bands and the location of the gathering. Fit and the way the openings sit on the body require a physical sample review.
