Production / Garment checks
Yoga wear quality control, from fabric to finished garment.
Quality checks cover incoming materials, sewing and finished garments before shipment.
Discuss your quality requirements
Start with an agreed reference
Make quality measurable before bulk begins.
Our team inspects each garment during packing. Garments that do not pass inspection are remade before dispatch.
When you approve the sample, its pattern, measurements, fabric, trims and branding details become the production specification for your order.
Prepare the sample review ↗- 01
Incoming materials
Confirm the fabric reference, color, surface appearance and trims against the agreed material choices. Identify any composition, weight or performance requirement that needs separate evidence.
- 02
Sewing and assembly
Use the construction drawing and sample to review panel alignment, seam continuity, waistband joins, straps, pockets and attached trims. Describe the appearance and function expected at each point.
- 03
Finished garments
Compare garment measurements, workmanship and branding with the approved specification. Include the size and color breakdown, labels and packing instructions in the final review scope.
A checklist for your style
What should the inspection cover?
Use these points to prepare your order checklist. The acceptance criteria and any testing or reporting requirements are agreed for the garment you are developing.
| Area | What to compare | What to define in the brief |
|---|---|---|
| Measurements | Waist, hip, rise, inseam and openings for leggings; underband, coverage and straps for bras. | Reference points, measuring condition, size-specific targets and a tolerance for each point. |
| Workmanship | Seam joins, stitching, panel symmetry, strap attachments, pocket edges and visible finishing. | The approved construction and which deviations affect appearance, comfort or function. |
| Fabric & color | The selected material reference and the appearance of the garment and its coordinated pieces. | Color references, material identification and any separate wash, recovery or other test requirement. |
| Branding & labels | Logo position, artwork version, label content, size identification and attachment. | Artwork dimensions, position from a named seam or edge, and the approved label files. |
| Packing | Style, color and size identification, garment grouping and carton contents. | Individual packing, set pairing, carton marks and any receiving instructions. |
Two different decisions
AQL and measurement tolerance.
A measurement tolerance describes the permitted variation at a particular measuring point. An acceptance sampling plan describes how a batch is assessed using a sample of that batch.
For stretch garments, specify whether a value is a flat width or a circumference, and whether the garment is relaxed or stretched. Use the same method during sample approval and later garment checks.
YogaSew checks each garment during packing. If your buyer also requires an acceptance sampling plan, include the standard and version, inspection level, defect classifications and acceptance limits in the brief for review. AQL sampling and the garment-by-garment packing check serve different purposes.
For background, QIMA explains acceptance sampling and why measurement tolerances belong to individual garment points. The requirements for your YogaSew order are confirmed with its specification.

When something needs attention
Make the concern easy to assess.
We provide after-sales support. Contact us promptly if you find a quality or sizing issue. We review the issue with you and agree a resolution based on the situation.
Identify the style, color, size and affected area. Include an overall photograph, a close-up and the relevant measurement with the tape position visible. Refer to the specification version so the concern and the agreed requirement can be compared.

Quality-control questions.
When does YogaSew check garment quality?
Quality checks cover incoming materials, sewing and finished garments before shipment. Our team inspects each garment during packing. Garments that do not pass inspection are remade before dispatch.
Which measurements and tolerances should my order use?
Use the approved size specification for your style. Name each measurement point, how it is measured, the garment condition and its agreed tolerance. Keep flat widths separate from circumferences, and relaxed measurements separate from stretched measurements.
Can I include an inspection or testing requirement in my brief?
Yes. Send the inspection standard, test method or buyer checklist you need before the order is agreed. We review the scope and arrangements for the project. Include any reporting or independent-inspection requirement in that review.
What should I send if I find a quality issue?
We provide after-sales support. Contact us promptly if you find a quality or sizing issue. We review the issue with you and agree a resolution based on the situation. Include your order and style reference, affected size and color, photographs and measurements taken using the agreed method.
Bring your quality requirements into the brief.
Send the style specification, measurement chart and any inspection or testing checklist required for your order.
